Following the recent success of numerous biopics and documentaries on the golden age of hip-hop, it’s no surprise that the complete Suge Knight story is ready to be released on premium cable television in the next few weeks.

Created by Training Day director Antoine Fuqua, American Dream/American Nightmare is a documentary about the former Death Row CEO based off his own 2003 autobiography.

The trailer indicates the documentary will feature never-before-seen interviews of Knight during Death Row’s infamous run throughout the mid-’90s, and viewers will be able to get a fully comprehensive view of perhaps the most notorious record executive in music history. The documentary is set to air on Showtime, Friday, Dec 21st at 8:30 EST, and you can watch the trailer above.
