It has been revealed that a street in Long Beach, New York, was named after MF DOOM.

The sign is located at the Riverside Blvd and E. Hudson Street intersection and says “KMD—MF DOOM Way” under the present signs. Long Beach city manager Donna Gayden spoke on the matter, saying, “MF DOOM left an indelible mark on the music industry and on the lives of people across the globe. Long Beach is proud to bestow this honour in his memory and proud that he [once] called our City home.” According to reports, the late London-born rapper was raised in Long Beach, New York.
