Southside Reacts to Jermaine Dupri Saying He Invented “Making It Rain”

Jermaine Dupri commented that he invented the premise of “making it rain” dollar bills at strip clubs.

However, there has been pushback on the comment, with producer Southside being at the front of it. While speaking to TMZ, Southside reacted to Dupri’s comments. Southside didn’t doubt that Dupri may have been the first famous person to do so but definitely denied that he was the first person to do it. Southside noted that Dupri was among the elite in shutting down strip clubs but said Dupri got that from OGs like his pops, who didn’t have celebrity status and didn’t want it due to their “profession.”
