Moses Barrow, better known as former Bad Boy rapper Shyne, was appointed Belize’s Leader of the Opposition at the end of June 2021.
This new role came less than a year after he was elected into the country’s House of Representatives. However, as one climbs the latter in their respective career, controversy unfortunately lurks. Due to his less than squeaky clean past, which includes serving 10 years in prison for a shooting, older Belizean officials are attempting to use his mistakes against him. However, in this interview, Shyne opens up about his vision for his beloved country. Citizens of his home give their take on the new leader, as well.
