Sexyy Red is taking it back to Myspace profiles, rubberband chains, and tall t-shirts in her latest music video.
The St. Louis rapper’s nostalgic “Get It Sexyy” clip brings Soulja Boy, Drake, and more for a ride down memory lane, as the party-ready anthem soundtracks a good time. Directed by Des Gray, the visual also features cameos from Fabo of D4L, Trippie Redd, and Rob49.
The video begins with Soulja Boy crediting himself as the first rapper to put the “Pound Town” performer on, poking fun at his real-life habit of patting himself on the back. As the music video continues, the “Crank Dat” pioneer hands Sexyy Red a pair of personalized sunglasses through the television screen, and the party begins.
