At the time of his death, Rich Homie Quan was working on a new album, so his family took it upon themselves to complete his vision with the release of Forever Goin In.
The late Atlanta rapper’s first posthumous LP hit streaming services today (Oct. 4th) and Forever Going In contains a whopping 35 tracks. The album features assists from Skilla Baby, Lil Tjay, 2 Chainz, Plies, Sukihana and more. The cover art shows Rich Homie Quan in an elementary school picture wearing a crown, with the words “I promise I will neva stop going in…. Forever Going In”. Also features the tracklist for the album, which includes features from Skilla Baby, Plies, Sukihana and more, a cryptic caption uncovered the multi-layered meaning of the release.
Rich Homie Quan, whose real name was Dequantes Lamar, died on September 5. The Fulton County Medical Examiner determined Rich Homie Quan died of an accidental overdose. His cause of death was the combined effects of fentanyl, alprazolam (Xanax), codeine and promethazine, per TMZ.
