Project Pat Reflects on Mac Miller’s Talent, Says “I Like People That Do Their Own Thing”

The loss of Mac Miller is still felt in the hip-hop world, as Miller’s impact on various artists comes up to this day.

One artist who recently spoke on Mac Miller was Memphis rap legend Project Pat. While speaking to HipHopDX, Pat talked about how he and Miller connected, saying, “I just started hitting him up, and then I just started listening to his stuff, and I said, ‘dude is really, really talented.’ Like, he’s hard. I bought his CDs and everything.” 

Pat then spoke about the draw of Mac Miller, saying: “I like people who do their own thing,” citing other artists like Drake as well.
