Project Pat recently talked about how his appearance on Drake’s Certified Lover Boy track, “Knife Talk,” came together before explaining why Drake’s father always has a pass in Memphis.
While talking about the CLB track, Project Pat said “Knife Talk” was an old song Metro Boomin was holding onto after it failed to make the final cut on a 21 Savage project. After Drake got a hold of the record, Project Pat claimed the rap superstar called and gave him the “Drake blessing.” Project Pat described his relationship with Drake and acknowledged the Canadian rapper’s ties to Memphis. After stating that Drake’s father, Dennis Graham, lives in the city, he explained why Drake never has to worry about anything happening to his father in Memphis.
