Shortly after J. Cole’s new album, KOD, broke Spotify’s standing record for release-day U.S. streams with 36,656,086 plays, Post Malone has gone and topped it.

Malone’s highly-anticipated project, Beerbongs & Bentleys, was streamed 47,930,039 times in the states on its opening day. The album also broke Spotify’s global record, with a total of 78,744,748 streams. Now, Malone has officially broken the first week streaming record both globally and in the U.S. with 411,816,710 and 236,500,546 streams respectively. The album was also certified Platinum just a few days after its release.

Malone is no stranger to breaking Spotify records, and most notably his single, “rockstar,” is currently at 965 million streams, landing it at number 11 on Spotify’s list of all-time most streamed songs.
