Popular YouTuber Logan Paul caused a ruckus across the internet on Monday, January 1, after uploading a video of a dead body, apparently a suicide hanging victim, in Japan’s “Suicide Forest.”

Paul quickly removed the video from his official YouTube channel, though the video is still making its rounds across the internet. The video shows Paul and his friends vlogging while on a trip to Japan, where they visit a suicide forest known as Aokigahara, located on the slopes of Mt. Fuji.

Paul films himself and his friends walking to the forest and spotting the body, hanging from a tree. He shows the body up close, and films his friends’ reactions to the discovery. While the victims’ face is blurred, the body is shown. In the videos’ introduction, Paul himself says, “This is not clickbait. This is the most real vlog I’ve ever posted to this channel,” He continues, “I think this definitely marks a moment in YouTube history because I’m pretty sure this has never hopefully happened to anyone on YouTube ever.”

Before being removed, the video had already amassed over 6 million views in under 24 hours. Logan Paul holds over 15 million YouTube subscribers and has had an active channel since April 2014. He is the older brother of fellow YouTube star, Jake Paul.
