One of the world’s most famous baby daddies is getting a Netflix docuseries to chronicle his hectic life.
Nick Cannon, the actor, comedian, TV host and 12-time father, is set to star in the untitled series, set ot premiere in winter 2026. The show — which appears to have at one point had the working title “Cannon’s House of Cards” (perhaps that’s a bit too close in title to Netflix’s original TV series) — will explore how he juggles his busy career with having so many kids. (It’s such a well-known aspect of his life that it’s frequently referenced and joked about on “The Masked Singer,” which Cannon hosts.) Netflix announced the series on Wednesday during its upfront presentation to advertisers in New York. The series comes from Velvet Hammer Media and Pantheon Media Group. Rebecca Quinn, Jen O’Connell, Trifari Williams, Rob Ford, Steve Michaels and Simon Thomas are executive producers.
Meanwhile, also on the unscripted tip, Netflix confirmed on Wednesday that Season 3 of its NFL docuseries “Quarterbacks” will return on July 14. The show, which follows four quarterbacks across the 2025 NFL season, looks at their lives on and off the field.
Netflix is positioning this as a mix of high-stakes business meetings and midnight diaper runs, basically treating his life like a combination of boardroom drama and parenting reality TV. The whole thing sounds like it’s going to lean into the absurdity of his situation without being mean-spirited, which is probably the only way to pull off a show about a man with this many kids without it feeling exploitative.
