‘Luke Cage’ and ‘Iron Fist’ were a part of four shows that were launched, and now they are the first two to get canceled. This comes after Netflix recently launched the third season of ‘Daredevil’ this past Friday.
Netflix issued a statement saying “Unfortunately, Marvel’s Luke Cage will not return for a third season. Everyone at Marvel Television and Netflix is grateful to the dedicated showrunner, writers, cast and crew who brought Harlem’s Hero to life for the past two seasons, and to all the fans who have supported the series.” Sources that spoke to Hollywood Reporter say the show’s cancellation came after showrunners couldn’t agree to terms for the third season, as well as creative differences.
