Nas took to Instagram to seemingly confirm The Lost Tapes II, in a video where he’s seen holding a broken cassette with the project’s name.
The video seemed to many to be the start of a promotional roll out for the album. The first Lost Tapes album was released in 2002 and has been considered one of Nas’ top albums to date. The acclaimed project featured unreleased tracks from his 1999 album I Am… and 2001’s Stillmatic. The Lost Tapes II has been anticipated for years, and fans were amped up after seeing Nas tease it online.
