Meek Mill is making the media rounds discussing the ordeal surrounding his controversial prison stint.
Last month, the Dreamchasers rapper was released on bail after serving five months in prison for parole violation. Meek’s fight to be released gained massive support from many. Meek sat down with Hot 97’s Ebro in the Morning on Thursday, May 10 to discuss his release, his fight to reform the criminal justice system, and the issues with the judge ruling over his case.
Around the 59:24 mark of the above interview, the subject of Drake was introduced, with Meek revealing that a collaboration between the two is “possible.”
“It’s Possible. Everything is possible.” Meek explained. “I don’t have hate towards him, and I don’t believe he has hate towards me. When I was in that situation, I seen in the media, he said ‘free Meek Mill.’ That’s when I was at my down point when I don’t have anything going on with music,”
While he believes critics would question the move, Meek Mill maintains that the past beef with Drake is not on his mind. “Before we had a little rap issue. I knew him as a person, and he supported. And that goes for anybody.”
