Master P is speaking out following news that his former No Limit artist Mia X has pulled out of performing at this year’s Essence Festival, which is being promoted as Master P’s final live show.

Although he didn’t mention Mia X by name, Master P addressed her decision and the criticism surrounding it. He went on to reflect on his legacy of supporting artists and his long-standing work in the community. Responding directly to claims of poor communication, Master P defended his approach. Master P ended on a high note, shifting his focus to the future. “I’m focusing on coaching and making a difference,” he said. “We gon’ turn up one more time for Essence. Salute to all my real Soldiers.”
