Marvel Studios released a touching tribute to actor Chadwick Boseman following news of his recent death after a lengthy battle with colon cancer.
The video featured his co-stars, including Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Angela Bassett, Robert Downey Jr., and Chris Evans, speaking about his incredible work ethic and how he brought the Black Panther character T’Challa to life. Nate Moore, who produced Black Panther, spoke about how Boseman’s role as Jackie Robinson in 42 made them take a second look at him for the role of T’Challa for the Marvel film. Moore spoke about the “honor and dignity” that Chadwick brought to his depiction of Robinson, which they wanted for the lead role in Black Panther.
