In a recent interview with Maino, DJ Vlad from VladTV addressed the longstanding accusations that he collaborates with authorities.
The conversation started with Vlad acknowledging how law enforcement has attempted to use his interviews, but he firmly denied ever intentionally collaborating with authorities. Vlad emphasized that he has always refused requests from police for his raw footage, citing an instance involving Jimmy Henchman, where he refused to submit interview tapes despite legal pressure that escalated to threats of a subpoena. He clarified that his intent is to protect his interviewees, and he is meticulous about the statute of limitations in his queries. Vlad explained that the “Fed” narrative could stem from his unique approach to interviewing street rappers—asking bold questions many others wouldn’t. He asserted that while some interviews, like Casanova’s, have been scrutinized, his content has never been directly used to incriminate anyone.
