Folks have been speculating for weeks now about where Lil Pump would end up after it was revealed last month that the 17-year-old rapper had dropped his label, Warner Bros.
Pump was 16 when he signed to Warner in early 2017 with a promise to produce five albums with at least 14 songs each. Despite being guaranteed a $345,000 advance and 15 percent royalties on all his albums, the “Gucci Gang” rhymer’s contract was voided by a court because he was underage when he signed it. Rumors began emerging in the following weeks that Pump was being propositioned by multiple labels, with offers allegedly as high as $8 to $12 million. However, it was never confirmed whether or not the Miami native signed with a new label.
After much speculation, a video surfaced confirming that Lil Pump is indeed signing to Gucci Mane’s 1017 Records.
In the video above, you can see Pump’s manager on FaceTime with the rapper, who ends up showing off his chain after the manager prompts him to reveal who he is now signed to. In the video Pump films himself while seated in a car smoking a blunt, and for most of the clip, he focuses the camera on the chain around his neck–a diamond and gold piece featuring the number 1017.
