Kodak Black returned to The Breakfast Club Friday morning, ski mask included.

In fact, everyone in the Power 105.1 studio (except, notably, Angela Yee) donned a ski mask as a callback to his viral 2017 appearance. First up, Kodak was asked to explain the inspiration behind the title for his new album Dying to Live.

At about 11 minutes in, Kodak was asked about his previous The Breakfast Club appearance and his feelings on interviews in general.

“I just came in like, man, you know, I really ain’t fucking with this shit,” said Kodak, who claimed he never watched the interview in question. “But then at the same time I’m like, man, I want to show another side of me, like my intellectuality . . . because people be thinking I’m stupid and shit.”
