Kodak Black will be signing a new record deal with Capitol Records after he fulfills his contractual obligations to Atlantic Records. Kodak Black has two more albums left on his current deal including his upcoming project Kutthroat Bill: Vol 1 (out October 28).

This news comes on the heels of  Orlando Wharton, the person who signed Kodak Black to Atlantic Records back in 2015, was named VP and president of the recently relaunched Priority Records imprint under the Capitol Records banner. In anticipation of his signing, Kodak would join a roster that already boasts such acts as Doechii, Masego, Toosii, Capella Grey, Kay Flock and TM88.
