Reflecting on his headline-making chat with Shannon Sharpe at the start of 2024, Williams admitted that he’d gone into the podcast with a specific goal: to damage the careers of certain comedians. Known for his sharp critique and unapologetic humor, Williams didn’t hold back in his comments about fellow comedians Kevin Hart, Steve Harvey, and Tiffany Haddish.

As he explained at Vulture Festival, he believed he had cracked the social media algorithm before appearing on Club Shay Shay, planning to leverage it for maximum impact.
