Katt Williams talks about winning a stand-up competition the first time performing, how golf saved his life and is the greatest sport and releasing his album As Above, So Below.

Katt Williams’ big plans for what’s next were inspired by another leader in the entertainment industry. Appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon earlier this week, the comedian detailed his plans to transform his recently purchased military base into a movie studio, inspired by the efforts of Tyler Perry. The stand-up star previously discussed the ambitious project last year with GQ and being inspired to venture into studio ownership by not just Perry but also Donald Glover, and 50 Cent.

In his conversation with Fallon, the Ohio native also reflected on his early career, clarifying a rumor that he was once sued by Dr. Seuss for his first stage name, Katt in the Hat.
