Kanye took to Instagram to reveal that he’s dropping the Donda 2 album on  Feb. 22, 2022. He also revealed that the project will be executive-produced by Future.
The imagery in the post featured Kanye’s childhood home in Chicago lit up in flames, much like when he previewed Donda listening session in Chicago last year. This comes after Jay Electronica shared texts with Kanye about plans to work on Donda 2. Pusha-T’s manager and Victor Victor Worldwide CEO Steven Victor also confirmed the album during a chat with Complex. Victor stated, “The Pusha album is coming sooner than you think. And we’re dropping back to back to back. You know when the President comes to town and they have the procession and all that, and the trucks, and it feels never-ending? That’s how we’re coming this year. Tonight, we’re leaving here and going to the studio. We’re working on Donda 2. We’re putting the finishing touches on Pusha’s album.”
