Rap star GloRilla’s fiery response to a bottle thrown during her set at Jamie Foxx’s Halloween party captured the intensity of live performance and the hazards that come with it.
The Memphis artist stopped her show to confront the audience, warning that anyone who disrespected the stage would face consequences. Her words, though raw and unfiltered, reflected both self-protection and defiance in the face of aggression. The incident took place on October 26 during Foxx’s annual SKVLK Fest in Thousand Oaks, California—a Halloween and birthday celebration originally launched by his daughter Anelise when she was 13. Now in its fifth year, the event drew celebrities, influencers, and fans. Midway through GloRilla’s performance, an unidentified person reportedly threw an object toward the stage, prompting the rapper’s heated outburst. Video circulating online shows Foxx, visibly angered, taking the microphone shortly after the disruption. He demanded to know who had thrown the object, scolding attendees for their behaviour inside his home.
