Gucci Mane asked longtime girlfriend Keyshia Ka’oir to be his bride in the way every girl dreams: a meticulously planned surprise proposal at a public event with thousands of people, accompanied by a 25 karat diamond ring—nothing too fancy. Courtside at an NBA Atlanta Hawks game last November, the “Lemonade” rapper pulled out the rock—an estimated $500,000—and of course, the whole thing was broadcast to the arena on the kiss cam. The two dated for 6 years before getting engaged, and since Gucci’s release from prison in May, the happy couple has been inseparable. Ka’oir stuck by his side during the entirety of his legal woes and was said to be a key factor in his new fitness and health-driven lifestyle.

 

In a first look trailer for their TV wedding special, Ka’oir teased “The Mane Event” will be “over-the-top fabulous. Think of royalty love… it will be a diamond-flooded wedding for both of us,” as she’s seen trying on gowns.

The “Wopsters” will be wed at the Four Seasons Miami on Oct. 17 and the ceremony will broadcast live on BET.
