Following the tragic passing of New York lyricist Fred The Godson to COVID-19 last year, his hometown borough of the Bronx honored the late rapper by naming a street after him.
Frederick “Fred the Godson” Thomas Way was unveiled on a snowy Monday afternoon in NYC on Fred’s birthday. The unveiling ceremony included appearances from Fat Joe, Sway Calloway, and Jim Jones. The Bronx Borough President Ruban Diaz was also in attendance and a live performance from Jaque and TBM Fat Boy Izzo.
