Fat Joe recently sat down on Jada Pinkett Smith’s “Red Table Talk” platform, where he covered various topics related to his life and career.

One of hip-hop’s favourite narrators gave some knowledge and advice we didn’t know we needed. Joe, whose legal name is Joseph Cartagena, has been an active figure in the rap industry for over 30 years. As his rap career progressed, Joe started his label, Terror Squad. The label is home to Remy Ma, the late Big Pun and, at one time, DJ Khaled. After racking up 30 years of experience, Joe had much to discuss.

Joe spoke on the lessons he has learned throughout his extensive career, the unfortunate deaths that have riddled the music industry, and his relationship with R&B singer Ashanti and the other strong women in his life.
