A fake Justin Bieber made a lot of noise over the weekend in Las Vegas— fooling fans into thinking he was the real deal and even getting a chance to perform at one of the city’s hottest clubs.
Clips began to circulate on social media showing the imposter at various spots around Sin City, snapping pics with fans and even causing large crowds to gather outside shops while the fake browsed some designer goods. However, things really got crazy when fake Bieber was somehow able to convince organizers at The Wynn’s XS Nightclub that he was the real deal. The imposter was able to make his way onto the stage during a DJ set from Gryffin and perform for the packed house. Gryffin played Bieber’s smash hit “Sorry” while fake Bieber bounced around the stage with a microphone lip-syncing the tune.
The imposter wore sunglasses, an unzipped hoodie over his head and some signature Bieber baggy clothes. He also had a bunch of tattoos just like Bieber. The crowd—obviously believing they were seeing the real deal, went nuts. Gryffin didn’t seem to notice he was only feet away from a phony either, having a great time while the song played.
