Hip hop fans have been anxiously waiting for Eminem’s follow-up to his 2013 album, “The Marshall Mathers LP 2.” There appears to be good news on that front … possibly … maybe. DJ Booth tweeted that the project was completed several months ago. “We spoke with a source at Shady Records in August, who confirmed this news. It’s actually been done for 3 months,” they wrote.

That bit of information was in response to former D12 member and current Eminem hype man, Denaun Porter, saying the album was done during an Instagram Live session. “No, we’re done. How about that?” Porter said in response to a fan’s question about the album. He later backtracked on that statement when speaking to Complex. “Anytime they come in there, they can expect to get trolled with any kind of question like that,” the producer explained. “I’m never the person to give up that kind of information. I might say, ‘Hey, we’re working on it’ or ‘Hey, we’re close.’ But I’m never going to be the guy that gives up the information. But they can get trolled.”

The album would be the ninth for the Detroit rapper. At this point we’ll just keep our fingers crossed that it will see the light of day soon.
