DJ Spinbad has died at 46-years-old, multiple reports confirmed.

The veteran Hip-Hop and Pop DJ was legendary in New York radio. Born Chris Sullivan, DJ Spinbad gained widespread recognition for his 80s Pop mixtape, Rocks the Casbah, which became one of the most bootlegged releases ever following its release in 1995. After releasing its sequel in 2000, he incorporated a rare Hip-Hop entry into the Fabriclive series in 2004. Legendary music acts, such as Questlove, A-Trak, and DJ Yoda have all paid tribute to the late DJ following his passing. The cause of death is yet to be confirmed.
