DJ Khaled took to Instagram to share a letter addressing his joint record with Nipsey Hussle, “Higher,” which fans have been anticipating in light of Nipsey’s tragic death.
Khaled wrote,
“Recently, I embarked on a soul-searching journey down a road I never thought I would travel in a million years. It began when a tragedy robbed the world of an enlightened soul, a brother, a father, a partner and my friend, Nipsey Hussle.”
DJ Khaled went on to reveal that 100% of the proceeds from the song will be going to Nipsey’s children, Kross and Emani, which he said was an agreement made by everyone who worked on the song.
