DJ Akademiks shared the horrific details of a home invasion attempt at his residence.
Akademiks said he broke his rule of not allowing anyone into his house when his girlfriend’s friend paid them a visit. He later found out the friend was dating a career criminal whose illicit circle planned to rob him. He vividly described how two men armed with an AK-47 and a Glock tried to force their way into his house. However, upon hearing the noise from the house, the intruders panicked and raced back to their car just as police arrived at the scene. Despite the law enforcement’s immediate response, they failed to nab the culprits due to the lack of a chase law in New Jersey. The invasion left Akademiks questioning the effectiveness of the police department.
