On October 20, Sean “Diddy” Combs returned to his alma mater, Howard University, to fulfill a significant promise during the university’s annual Yardfest event.

At the celebration, Diddy handed over a generous check of $1 million to Dr. Ben Vinson III, the president of Howard University. This act of philanthropy reaffirmed Diddy’s steadfast dedication to historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs), recognizing their transformative impact. As a proud alumnus of Howard, he understands the vital role these institutions play in shaping lives. Diddy’s donation was more than just a financial contribution; it represented his commitment to preserving the legacy of HBCUs. During the event, he also took the stage and performed some of his classic songs, including “It’s All About the Benjamins,” “I Need a Girl (Pt. 1),” and “Act Bad.” He surprised the audience by bringing special guests Kalan.FrFr and Jozzy to perform tracks from his latest album, The Love Album: Off the Grid.
