DaBaby is putting his North Carolina fortress on the market for $6.9 million, and the price tag tells a story about how far the Charlotte rapper’s empire has shifted.
The gated compound at 135 Stillwater Road in Troutman originally cost him $2.3 million when he copped it years back, but now he’s looking to triple his investment as he pivots toward new business ventures beyond the booth. According to The NC Beat, the 11,241-square-foot property features five bedrooms, multiple bathrooms, and all the amenities you’d expect from a rapper’s fortress, including a pool and stadium lighting that makes the whole compound glow at night. The mansion sits behind concrete walls and security gates, but it’s also the site where things got real in April 2022 when a trespasser was shot on the property.
Police confirmed DaBaby was home during the incident, and according to WCNC Charlotte, the caller told dispatchers the intruder had climbed the fence and was shot in the leg. The property now displays “No Trespassing” and “We have guns and shovels” signs, making it clear that security is no joke out there.
