Although Alf may have become outdated much quicker than its adversaries on network television, the award-winning sci-fi comedy about a family that adopted a witty, cat-eating alien that speaks perfect English has remained a cult classic amongst television/film fans.

After being off the air for several decades, an Alf reboot is returning to television thanks to Ryan Reynolds. The 46-year-old star of the long-awaited Deadpool 3 is executive producing original content starring “Alf” for his newly launched platform, Maximum Effort. Reynolds procured the rights to Alf upon securing a deal with Fubo. He will partner with the creator of Alf, Paul Fusco (and his company Stout Studios), to present new episodes of Alf to the public starting on Saturday, July 29th.
