Ciara turned Russell Wilson’s long running “Baby Cinco” campaign into reality Sunday when the singer announced she was pregnant with her fifth child and their fourth together.
The 40-year-old entertainer and Wilson revealed the pregnancy Sept. 6 through a joint Instagram post that put Ciara’s growing baby bump front and center. The couple used a clothesline filled with white shirts bearing their children’s names to help deliver the news. A small blank onesie hung at the end for the newest member of the family. The reveal also showed Ciara holding up five fingers to celebrate baby No. 5. The child will be Ciara’s fourth with Wilson. She shares her eldest son Future Zahir with rapper Future. Ciara and Wilson are parents to Sienna Princess, Win Harrison and Amora Princess.
The announcement apparently completes a mission Wilson has been discussing publicly for quite some time. The former NFL quarterback made his intentions particularly clear during Fanatics Fest in July.
Ciara revealed in July that her husband’s campaign for another child actually started much earlier. According to the singer, Wilson was already thinking about Cinco shortly after she gave birth to Amora in December 2023. Ciara and Wilson celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary in July after marrying in 2016. Wilson also announced his retirement from professional football in June following a 14 season NFL career.
