Cardi B recently publicly revealed her family ties to Memphis rapper GloRilla.
During an interview with Big Boy, Cardi shared that GloRilla is, as the Memphis rapper had mentioned offhandedly back in 2022, her cousin. The topic came up because Big Boy was teasing Cardi for not admitting to him in a prior talk that she had done a song with Shakira when the veteran DJ asked her about it. Cardi then broke down their familial connection, saying that her grandfather, who she claimed “used to push weight,” had at one point lived in Tennessee — for reasons, she implied, related to that business.
