The Bronx native released her first single of 2026 on Friday night, and it’s exactly the kind of aggressive, no-filter energy that’s kept her at the top of the rap game for years. Produced by DJ SwanQo, the song hits hard with Cardi spitting bars about haters and taking direct shots at the current political climate.
Cardi B opens the track by establishing her dominance, and rapping about how people really hate her, but she doesn’t care. What really stands out is how she addresses the disconnect between people who claim they don’t like her but still listen to her music anyway.
The track marks the New York rapper’s first solo music since the release of her 2025 album Am I the Drama?, which followed her Grammy-winning 2018 debut Invasion of Privacy. This year, she embarked on an arena tour in support of her second solo album, and performed two of its singles, “Bodega Baddie” and “ErrTime,” on Saturday Night Live.
The concert marked Cardi’s first U.S. arena tour and became the highest-grossing debut arena tour by a female rapper, with over 450,000 tickets sold in North America, per a record company release.
