Recently, Busta Rhymes has been on a press run for his latest album ‘Blockbusta,’ and the legendary artist has been speaking candidly about his career as well.
During an interview with ‘The Diary of a CEO’ Busta revealed the reason why he originally started rapping. Busta noted he originally wanted to be a DJ but said, “I’m not really the technology dude, so all of this equipment s***, it was just a little complicated for me.” From there, Busta recalled how he hopped into the world of rapping, noting that former groupmate Charlie Brown of Leaders Of The New School sparked his desire to rap.
