Bun B has stepped into the podcasting world with Merrick Studios, a new audio platform rooted in Hip-Hop and built to elevate authentic voices across culture, music and media.

The Grammy-nominated rapper and entrepreneur co-founded the network alongside music industry veteran Jeffrey Sledge and Tom Frank, blending creative storytelling with a business model that puts creators first. The trio launched the network through a partnership with Merrick Creative, aiming to provide a space for “smart, soulful and unfiltered conversations.”

“At Merrick Studios, we’re not just building a network of shows—we’re building a family of creators,” Bun B said in a statement, highlighting the network’s collaborative spirit and focus on cross-promotion to help hosts grow their audiences. The network debuted with several shows already live, including Unglossy, co-hosted by Bun B, Frank and Sledge. The series features interviews with cultural leaders from music, fashion, food and beyond. Another standout is the Pendulum Podcast, a lecture-style show developed by Pendulum Ink founder Mickey Factz, spotlighting elite lyricists and their craft.

This move into digital media is the latest in a string of ventures for Bun B, who also runs the Houston-based burger brand Trill Burgers.
