Jermaine Dupri is pulling back the curtain on his creative process as he builds out the soundtrack for Magic City — which will accompany his documentary, Magic City: An American Fantasy.
In the 1st episode of his series, JD travels to Miami and links with Big Meech. The legendary producer explained that he initially didn’t realize Meech was unable to leave his home or hit the studio due to probation restrictions. JD revealed that he’s looking to feature Big Meech on the album, possibly through interludes or skits, and said their reunion felt like no time had passed. JD shared a humorous memory about their long-standing friendship, revealing that Big Meech once stole one of his bodyguards.
