Despite initial resistance from Dre’s team, Burner was eventually able to meet with the iconic producer. He showed Dre a jar of what he wanted to call “The Chronic,” a strain of weed that was described as the best-looking and most impressive they had ever produced. Dre agreed that he “f***ed with it” but ultimately declined to get involved in the industry due to the legal risks. During his sit-down, Berner also reflected on the significance of being on the cover of Forbes, particularly because it allowed him to share moments with influential figures like Diddy and Jay-Z. He expresses his admiration for Dre and Kanye, highlighting their legendary status and the impact they’ve had on the industry. Berner acknowledges the influx of attention and recognition that comes with being successful, but emphasizes that he is not the solution to anyone’s problems.
