The Millicent Hailes-directed visual also features special effects, including lightning zaps, blurry transitions, and split-screen scenes. Belly recently told Billboard about the video’s simplicity. “We just wanted a visual depiction,” he said. “We didn’t want to tell any stories or get into any craziness. I wanted to bring an abstract feeling to the song. Millicent really captured the beauty of the random moments, rather than try to detail everything and put it in the video.”
