The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department responded to the singer’s home in Lancaster, California, and an investigation is currently underway, the department said.

Law enforcement sources say they received a 911 call around 11 am on Saturday saying a man drowned in the bathtub. Aaron Carter, the singer-rapper who began performing as a child and had hit albums starting in his teen years, was found dead at his home in Southern California.
