A$AP Rocky talks about welcoming a third baby with Rihanna, collaborating with Tim Burton on the art for his new album Don’t Be Dumb and partnering with Bilt to cover the rent for every tenant in the building he grew up in.
The rapper just released the new album “Don’t Be Dumb” on January 16, made his Saturday Night Live debut on January 17, and spent 2025 starring in the movies Highest 2 Lowest and If I Had Legs I’d Kick You, on top of welcoming a new baby with his superstar partner. He told Jimmy Fallon all about it during his Tonight Show appearance.
Rocky says he wasn’t at his best that night. But it seems that the “Disturbia” singer didn’t hold it against him, or at least she forgot about it by the time they started dating years later.
The pair didn’t start dating until around 2020, but they met and worked together years before that. Rocky guested on Riri’s “Cockiness (Love It)” remix in 2012, performing it together on that year’s VMAs, and opened the first leg of Rihanna’s Diamonds World Tour in 2013. Rihanna returned the favour the same year with her adorable turn as his love in Rocky’s “Fashion Killa” video.
In 2018, the friends and collaborators turned heads attending Abloh’s Louis Vuitton menswear show at Paris Fashion Week, but no relationship rumors were confirmed. The two walked the carpet together at the British Fashion Awards in December 2019, and by 2020, the two were officially together.
