A$AP Rocky first premiered the single during a run of festival appearances in 2022, back when fans still thought its real title was “Taylor Swift,” but held off on releasing it in any official capacity after a version of the track and video leaked online.
Along with the track, he also shared a fever dream-like music video filmed in Ukraine. Throughout the video, Rocky finds himself in visually bizarre scenarios. There’s a man whose entire foot is just one big toe, another person whose desktop computer is set up inside of a refrigerator, and the rapper himself goes cruising down the block in some strange bathtub-turned-motorbike contraption while wearing a shower cap. The more you try to make sense of it, the less sense it makes.
“Tailor Swif” marks the latest release from Rocky, who has been steadily teasing the release of his upcoming album Don’t Be Dumb. Though he hasn’t yet to set a release date, he recently shared the single “Highjack” featuring Jessica Pratt and performed unreleased material during his sets at Rolling Loud Miami and Rolling Loud Portugal.
