Growing up as a kid, David El Hajj (aka DJ Str8Up) lived in 4 different countries before coming to Canada as a refugee. Music played a huge role in his life, as he had the possibility to explore it the day he found an abandoned computer on the street at the age of 14. This allowed Str8 Up to discover his love of music…and it became an addiction. He honed his craft…all along tweaking his ears to the sounds of the world as the years went by.
DJ Str8 Up’s first gig came in the summer of 2009, where he found himself smack dab in front of a huge crowd! Since then, it’s been a roller coaster…and the rest…is history. Str8 Up plays at amazing venues such as Circus After-hours, Club ALÉA at the Lac Lemy Casino (residency), Frat QLL, Café-Campus, Beach Club of Pointe-Calumet, Super9, Fuzzy, night club and many more. He opened for artists such as T-Pain, Kasper at the Francofolies of Montréal, Karl Wolf, Manu Militari, Koriass and more. So whether he’s deejaying in a club, event, with an Artist or wherever he is…DJ Str8 Up gives 110% dedication to this music s#*t and is bound to turn the party out!
