The Bronx rapper revealed that the son she shares with NFL receiver Stefon Diggs is named Grey.
The photos show Grey sitting on a bed in a baseball cap and dressed in a doctor’s costume for Halloween. Cardi also told him he had changed what a “Grey day” meant to her because his smile, laugh and spirit light up her life. Cardi announced the birth nine days later and shared hospital photos that showed her with Diggs and their newborn, but she did not reveal his name or show his face. She preserved his umbilical cord as gold jewelry, another personal keepsake from the pregnancy.
The pregnancy unfolded during a demanding stretch. Cardi publicly confirmed it in September 2025 while promoting Am I the Drama? and preparing for a tour. She described herself then as happy, strong and powerful even while balancing work with pregnancy. When Grey arrived, she framed the birth as another reason to become the best version of herself for her children. Grey is Cardi’s fourth child and her first with Diggs. She shares Kulture, Wave and Blossom with estranged husband Offset. Diggs is also a father to daughters Nova and Charliee from previous relationships. Cardi used “Baby Brim” and other nicknames while keeping Grey’s identity private. Even her initial hospital carousel concealed his face.
