Gunna brought South Fulton together for a day that mixed real resources with real inspiration for the community’s young people.
The eighth annual Great Giveaway drew roughly 750 kids and their families to Welcome All Park, where the focus wasn’t just on handing out supplies but on showing what’s possible when someone from the neighbourhood makes it big and comes back. Kids walked away with school supplies ready for the new year, groceries to stock their homes, and access to free health and dental checkups that many families can’t afford otherwise. The Atlanta Hawks and College Park Skyhawks brought their own energy to the day, setting up sporting activities that let young people see athletic opportunity as something real and within reach.
According to 11Alive, the event combined immediate practical help with long-term inspiration in a way that actually matters. The Great Giveaway Foundation has been running since 2018, and it’s become a consistent part of how he invests back into the community that made him. Free grocery stores operate year-round in the community, and Gunna recently launched a guaranteed income program that puts money directly into residents’ hands. The Gunna Foundation also announced plans to expand its guaranteed income initiative to reach more South Fulton families in the coming months.
