“He’s like on a Taylor Swift tour run right now,” James joked, referring to the analyst’s frequent interviews and commentary on the incident. He also pointed out that Smith initially claimed he didn’t want to address the situation—until the video went viral.
James then clarified his stance on media criticism, emphasizing that he has no issue with analysts critiquing players’ performances but takes exception when the commentary becomes personal.
